Why Off-Lease
The Off-Lease Advantage
Trucks coming off active lease bring something rare to the used market — verified history. We document the miles, the hours, the operator. Every unit gets put through inspection before it goes up for sale. Premium iron without the new-truck price tag.
Verified Miles & Hours
Odometer and engine hour readings are confirmed directly from lease records before each unit is listed. No estimates, no mystery on usage.
Documented Lease History
Most off-lease trucks ran with a single lease customer for the life of the lease — known route, known usage pattern. In some cases a unit may have had more than one lease or rental customer over time. In every case, all approved maintenance was monitored throughout.
RDK Inspection
Every off-lease unit comes through our shop for inspection before it's listed for sale. Issues get noted up front — no surprises after delivery.
Factory Warranty Available
Select off-lease units still carry remaining factory warranty. We confirm coverage on a per-unit basis when you ask about a specific truck.
Select UnitsThe Value Proposition
Premium Iron. Reduced Price.
By the time an off-lease truck comes back to RDK, the depreciation curve has already shifted in your favor. You can acquire trucks of similar caliber to our new inventory — same chassis brands, same refuse bodies, same truck types — at a meaningful price reduction. Leased equipment stays operational because lease customers depend on it daily, and lease return conditions hold equipment to standards. Combined with verified specs and a documented lease history, off-lease is a value path that's hard to match elsewhere in the used market. There's a tax advantage, too: Federal Excise Tax (FET) has already been handled on these units — it isn't due again on trucks more than one year in service, so it's one less cost to fold into your budget.
